I have found this to be a wonderful research book for my own collection of perfumes and for on line buying and selling perfumes. I have the 1999 Revised Price Guide and have discovered it has been most helpful for bidding on line and it keeps me price smart. The descriptions are precise and clear with measurements of the perfumes. Very important to me is the section written about Reproductions. I would like to see this section updated, as the problem gets progressively larger every year. This book is very informative about atomizers, manufacturers and trade names of perfumes, what marks to look for pertaining to each perfume, with a section (most important to me) on jeweled purse bottles. This book has literally broadened my horizons on perfume bottles and boudoir accessories.
This book was my first, in my referece library and I still enjoy going back to it! Has lots of bottles to look at and the photo are good
This is a GREAT book. I bought it for my daughter and I'm going to buy one for myself. It is full of photos and as the saying goes "seeing is believing". This is a much needed book for the collector to see so many perfume bottles and I like the copies of original 1930's ads.
Bought this a gift for a perfume bottle collector. She LOVED it! Talks about it all the time. Some of her friends have even asked me where I got it. Glad I bought it for her.
arrived in excellent condition, beautiful photos, detailed information, history and values at the time of the publication. Lots of good background information, dates, etc.
Great book and so glad I have it! Pictures are excellent and makes a nice reference book. Wish there was a nice edition.
