The cover does not do justice to the heavenly photos that await inside. Photos are crystal clear, showing over 1000 perfumes, from your mother's favorites to Art Nouveau masterpieces and recent creations. The authors do a wonderful job of putting the perfumes in the context of their times, describing the chemistry, the fragrance creators, bottle designers, and the women who loved the perfumes. I could sit and look at this book every night it is so beautiful. I only wish I could experience "Thou Shalt Not," by Maupassant. What a name!
