There is a wide selection of recipes that can be used for preserving or canning food. Unfortunately the book is lacking updated and current canning information. Hopefully, there will be an updated version published soon as this cookbook does have lots of tasty recipes.
You cna't beat this line of cookbooks; pictures of every recipe and a book for everything you can imagine. I don't own them all but do own many and wouldn't trade them. If you are young and starting out they would be my first choice.
I was happy to add this to my collection of her cookbooks.
