This book appears to have been a complete re-write from the previous edition as advertised, but it seems to leaves out a lot of useful information from the previous edition. I mistakenly chose this edition because I was particularly interest in the Graphics and Animations section. It, along with many other sections, are absent in the "new" edition. I am returning mine for a refund and purchasing a used copy of the last edition. Go figure.

this is a great resource and gives tools to further you swift knowledge,I use it daily!

O'Reilly cookbooks are great. If you want to start learning how to develop apps, this is the book to start out with. It was a new world to me, but it was a great starter book for me to get into the iOS Realm.
