This is a nice short concise reference guide which is exactly what I wanted. For those who want more detail/more fluff then maybe an actual book would be better for you. It's basically a pamphlet which is why some others are giving lower star reviews. Pamphlets come packed full of good information sometimes, especially when they are Storey's.

Bought this book in anticipation of the upcoming season this next year. Have about 6 acres of fruit trees in orchard, and they havent been properly pruned in God only knows how long. Looking for info to prune so the trees will produce bigger and better fruit. Havent gotten the opportunity to put read words into live physical action, but from what I've read, it looks like it all makes sense.

Useful to explain proper timing and techniques for a diverse set of plants. Comes in a handy small size and at a reasonable price.

Did quick read and find the series i bought along with "Pruning Trees,...." to be helpful. It wasn't like: it's too overwhelming". It's a handy size i can carry and review anytime, so i rate it a 5 (i love it).

The booklet is very interesting and informative. I believe it will helpme in the future. I was particularly interested in pruning fruit treesand it has good information.

Great advice for the novice plant lover.

You can't go wrong with any Storeys booklets! This one really helps with my over zealous pruning habit, LOL, keeps me out of trouble with the wife!

This is a pamphlet not really a book-book. It gives good easy to understand directions that are very easy to follow.
