I've been scrapbooking for years and have been in a rut lately. This book got my wheels turning with ideas for how I want to proceed with my hobby in the future. This small book gives you a lot to think about but what sets it apart is the resources and questions Jennifer provides to help move the reader towards action. Even if you've "given up" on scrapbooking you should read this book - Jennifer's approach is accessible to everyone from paper to digital to those who have many completed albums to those with piles of photos. She provides clarity on the way forward as well as a paradigm shift in this book.
This is a great book. It gives you permission to make your own rules, to practice the hobby the way that works for you. It offers a reminder that it all starts with photos and stories and that we need to simplify and make space to be creative. Her suggestion that we create both ritual and celebration around our scrapbooking is very insightful and empowers us to create simply and effectively. I highly recommend this book if you are feeling stuck or overwhelmed with your scrapbooking.
Jennifer Wilson has been on the cutting edge of memory keeping for many years making it easy and simple to get your memories archived. She is a joy to work with. Her coaching is supportive and encouraging no matter what level you are at. There are many scrapbooking icons out there but her blog and books are my favorite. If you are a veteran scrapbooker or a newbie, check her out.

Love Jennifer style and approach to being creative and enjoy the process. Because of her tips I have been able to continue with my Project Life spreads, as she revealed it was ok to not foot weekly. Apply 1,2 or all of the rules and you will gain crafty peace! I recommend doing one rule at a time!
I love the ideas outlined in this book! I tend to be a 'simple scrapper' and often feel like I'm less of a scrapbooker or less authentic because I don't usually follow trends or try super artsy things. This book reinforces that as long as my style & methods feel true to me, then that's really all that matters. Thank you Jennifer Wilson!
Jennifer did a great job at wading through all the frustrations people have with scrapbooking. It can get overwhelming without a plan. She doesn't just give one idea, but helps you tailor it to your needs and personality.
