This is one of many books that I own on How to make bows and arrows and is worthy of its place in my library. The sections of this book are great starting with the earliest of European bows and ending with modern bow construction. I have seen comments about how this book is at times jittery in language. However, one must take into account that this is translated into English and these errors do not impede the information or the flow of the book. This book is an excellent source for anyone who is interested in replicating the ancient bows of Europe!
This was just the book I needed to start build bows with my son. It is a wonderful read, love that it gives the history of the bows. My son and built our first bow for his boy scout troop to raffle off and it was a great bow.
Packed with useful information. Good reference for the process of bow and arrow fabrication. Highly recommend this book for DIY.
