I am planning on raising chickens to be self-sufficient. I found this book and decided to buy it. True to its title, it contained information on building coops for the chicken and not only that but also what you needed to know about the chickens.The chicken coop sample photos are really beautiful. When building my chicken coop, it will be a model of the sample. Now that I know the costly mistakes when choosing runs and coops, I can now avoid them which can save me a lot of money, time, and energy. I thought building coops was hard but the author made it easier for me. It’s a short book but has so much information.I can build chicken coop with this book as a guide. I recommend this to anybody who is planning to build chicken coop and be self-sufficient.

This is a great guide book for beginners. I purchased this book for my mum really loves chicken and it has been of great help when constructing the coop. The book guides on what to consider when constructing the coop such as the size, and the materials best to use and it is very pleasing to collect fresh and warm eggs which are of high quality. The book further gives on the advantages and disadvantages. A great book.
A lot of information about raising chickens but not as much about building coops. I haven't finished reading it but I found that the materials list for the first coop seems to be missing or having the incorrect numbers of some items. The building instructions contain wording that is unclear to me. It may be that Mr. Green is using language that is colloquial and the terms may be common to where he lives. Some things that are referred to in the instructions seem to no refer to items as they are listed in the materials list.
