This summary saved me from 771 pages and probably 3 days of reading. The goldfinch was the title of the week for my book club and I admit I really didn’t have the time to read. I got a general overview. Donna Tartt is such a great writer and her characters feel so real. Theo is no exception. This is brilliantly told from his perspective. The plot revolves around a missing painting and follows Theo’s life and development.

I really loved to read it, this is a mesmerizing novel which tells us the story of a teenage boy that is full of suspense, thriller, destiny and tragedy. The story of Theodore is totally unpredictable at every step of life for him that is why he remains confuse, sad and lonely most of the time.

I was trapped since the first page. The Goldfinch is a beautiful novel. I know it is a summary, but the author made an excellent work. For sure, this story has changed many lives for his content. It helped me to know all I need to discuss with my friends about it. It is the best summary you can find of this book.

Theodore is a very well described character in the book. This book has most likely saved me plenty of time and effort. The summary is straight to the point and very concise. I wish that the summary would be alittle shorter though. Nonetheless it is still a five stars feedback from me and I look forward to reading this summary again. Theodore, the teenage boy, was described in detail with plenty of suspense and leaves the reader hanging. I found it to be a refreshing writing style and interesting to read

Every once in a while, a book comes along that you can't get out of your head, for days, weeks,months..maybe years after you read it. The Goldfinch was one of those books for me. This is a dark, beautiful, intriguing story. Theo Decker is telling you through his life from the day his mother died tragically. His life goes trough mostly a dark path (drugs, alcohol). We do get sucked in each step of his life until he reaches adulthood. You see through his eyes in extraordinary detailed, the people, the scenery. A remarkable read.
