Noel Kingsbury is one of my favorite outdoor authors. He has come up with another winner with this one. I bought several copies for my wife to give out my hometown's Daffodil Festival.
Interesting background and origin of my favorite flower. Quite a bit of botany involved but more than redeemed by the beautiful illustrations. An outstanding 'coffee table book'.
Brief but well written history of the development of narcissus cultivars. Includes culture. Very good color photos as well. Recommend.
