JAYME WAS ALWAYS EMAILING ME WITH HER OTHER GULF REPORTS AND FINALLY PUT IT ALL IN WRITING. SHE IS A WONDERFUL STORYTELLER AND AUTHOR. I HAVE KNOWN HER OVER 20 YEARS. WHEN SHE GOT MARRIED I WAS HAPPY AND SAD, HAPPY SHE WAS HAPPY AND SAD TO SEE HER STEP OFF INTO A WHOLE NEW WORLD. SHE AND JOHN ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER. I ADMIT, WE HAD OUR DOUBTS ON HIM AND SHE HAD TO PUT UP WITH A LOT OF NEGATIVITY FROM HER FRIENDS BUT SHE HAS PERSERVERED AND BLOSSOMED AND YES, JOHN TREATS HER LIKE THE QUEEN SHE IS. SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND AND I ENJOYED READING HER BOOK AND GLAD SHE PUT IT ON BOOK OR RATHER E-BOOK. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ALL TO BUY THIS BOOK, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book!! The chapters were short so I never got bored with one of them. I read the entire book within an hour as I could not put it down. Reading this book actually put me back in Abu Dhabi and I felt as though I were living the author's adventures right along with her!
I thoroughly enjoyed Jayme's candid description of her adventurous experience of finding romance and following her love to a distant land. How courageous! I laughed through many of her escapades and applauded her ability to bite her tongue when she was challenged at every turn. I would love the opportunity to see photos of some of the scenes she described. I'm looking forward to future escapades. Congratulations, Jayme!
Loved Honeymoon in Abu Dhabi, a fun read. I enjoyed Jayme's previous book "As the Butterbean's Boil" about growing up in the south in the 1950's so looked forward to reading this one. Her story is laugh out loud funny and sharing her adventure and the challenge of living in a very foreign country is fascinating. The initial chapters relating her creative online dating experience would be great stand up comedy material. Also love her down to earth storytelling and positive and open attitude as she makes personal connections with the people she meets.
