Will Holtham has been a chef and restaurateur for more than forty years. He also owned the Square Rigger restaurant and legendary Bite Clam Shack, both on Martha’s Vineyard. As a native Vineyarder, I grew up enjoying special dinners at the Home Port. My Mom and Dad remained great friends of the Cummens long past their retirement to Florida. Chet's Key Lime Pie was renowned as were his special twists to seafood recipes. This book will allow you to relive some of the best meals you have ever enjoyed!
Just loved this cookbook, Home Port. The recipes are delicious and easy to prepare. What I enjoyed most were the stories. As I read them I was back on MV walking about and smelling the sea air.
I just got the book and was able to try the Quahog Chowder. It is truly the best ever! Bought a second book for my daughter. Great stories inside and illustrations to go along with fine, fine, casual seafood cooking.
This was a gift to my daughter and she and her husband love it. It was written by a high school friend of mine and my daughter's mother.
