I was trying to get a remodeling encyclopedia that detailed procedures and contained tips in order to make me a better and more expert craftsman. this is more aimed at helping your wife pick out fancy crap. Thank you for the chapter on fancy effin faucets, I was much mere interested in something that would make tile a breeze or a quick reference when I'm wondering the best way to do something.
This is a great book with detailed images and text, that both homeowners and professionals will find helpful. The author does a great job on providing beneficial pictures that are described in detail, along with illustrations and charts that supplement the reading. This book is not a boring read, and provides tips and techniques that even seasoned professionals might find helpful.
A coworker let me browse through his book I liked the information it had in it so I ordered me one because I am planning a project and the book covers the project start to finish. Also shipping was no bad.
good basic information with pictures. Does not go into great detail, but the pictures help. If your looking for basic information on do it yourself bathroom remodel this book is a good start.
You are better off watching YouTube videos which are free and much better.
Very good book, I'm very familiar with home renovation, but had some questions about which materials to use in wet areas etc before helping a friend build a new bathroom, this book was very helpful answering some very important questions and for choosing materials and finding the materials.
Pretty good, but I expected more technical information - I wanted a resource for contractors, rather than consumers.
It had all of the basic info and tips on what I needed for replacing the toilet and lavatory/faucet/drain etc.
