These people put out some very detailed info for the beginner carver this book is well worth money for the info you get. Include pictures from several views and painting schedule.
As these type of Publications go this is one of the best. The details and photos are very good. Easy to understand descriptions.
I have found that the Project magazine is a good reference and a good pattern of Hooded Mergansers, although a bit to detailed for a beginner carver.
