Carol Dean Jones is on good form in this, the 8th book in the Quilting Cozy mystery series. A intriging mystery (I don't want to give the plot away!) is skifully interwoven with Sarah, Sophie and their friends working on fidget quilts for Alzheimers sufferers. The book also continues to explore the developing relationships between the various characters and is insightful on the subject of modern family relationships, trust and openesss. In short: a great read, I read it in one sitting, I just couldn't put it down!
I was so happy when I found out that Carol Dean Jones had written another book!! Then, when I started reading it and realized that it continued the story that she had started about 7 or 8 books ago!! I love her books. I am never bored, always waiting to get back to the book!! I hope that she continues to write. I watch for her books all the time.

I have read all eight books but still have unanswered questions. Does Martha marry timothy? Loved the series. Its great to read a book involving older spunky wonderful seniors would definetly recommend. Is another brewing?
I rally enjoyed the weaving of the interconnecting stories about the characters l have come to know through reading this series. The fidget quilt is something I would like to try. I appreciate how the author developed relationships at many levels throughout the story.
I so much enjoy reading this story line by Carol Dean Jones. I can't wait for the next one to come out. I feel as if Sarah and all her quilting friends and family are my friends. Ms. Jones does a wonderful job of bringing you into their lives. My husband and I are recently retired and wish we were living in Middletown in order to be a part of all the antics. Another enjoyable story.
If you enjoy both reading and quilting you will enjoy all the books in this series. The books keep you entertained from start to finish and you can't wait for the next adventure.
