For the price, the book is reasonably short. The cover is a rather misleading: there isn't much detail about the traditional cheese and chocolate fondues. Half of the material is about savory and oil fondues. A good chunk is fondue-unrelated and about sides and salads. A few variations of the cheese and chocolate versions are offered, but not enough compared to the oil section.
