I came across with Selenium a few months back and I was instantly hooked by the platform. This book is perfect for me since I do programming as a hobby; I really need all the infos needed for me to be effective. This book so very detailed and comprehensible thus makes a perfect beginner’s guide. The author’s mastery of the topics on the book shows the level of competence she has!
I don't understand the four- and five-star reviews, unless they were reading a different Kindle book.I found "Absolute Beginner (Part 1) Selenium WebDriver for Functional Automation Testing: Your Beginners Guide" a much more lucid and accurate Kindle book (and for $0, as well).
This book is a new kind of experience for me and I got some basic info about software testing which is a process of executing a program to find faults/ errors from a product/ Software to complete the requirements of customer or end user. It can be helpful to provide an objective to a software or product to understand the risk of implementation of product.
I expected a structured description of a testing process. The book doesn't have it. Describe basis and techniques but very little process. You can understand the basic principles of software testing from this book and prepare for the exam or just refresh your knowledge on the subject.
