This book amazing manages to grasp a lot of the complicated aspect of software testing and condenses them into a concise and easy to understand format. If your looking to learn the basics this is the book for you. It offers a vast amount of knowledge in less than 100 pages so it's great for the busy person on the go. I was also able to learn and pick of the terminology of the software world quickly from reading this. I would definitely recommend it.
Very well organized and easy to read. This guide offers many useful tips that are actually relevant, much better than other texts that reference obsolete information. Very helpful for beginners and makes a great reference guide to keep handy.
Very basic book, lacks detail and polish and I found very little applicable knowledge in it,besides the author seems to drag on about subjects and concepts that offer little value to a beginning tester eager to know about his/her trade, I would suggest instead Software Testing by Brian Hambling, its more expensive but worth it.
This is an execellent guide for those who are currently working as a quality analyst/tester or new to this area. The beauty of this book is that it covers all the aspects of Quality Assurance and provides in-depth knowledge in the agile development area while keeping the information consice and short. You can read the whole book in couple sittings and will get the complete understanding regarding the importance of QA in the SDLC and as well as its role in the agile environment.I would recommend this book to anybody who is starting his career as a QA or keep this in your office for a reference.
