I couldn't wait for this arrive. I've had ep since the spring of 75. Not having any books available to read for general info, I gather whatever I can afford regarding it. This is a excellent book for the newly diagnosed as well as the indi's family/friends. CHILDREN WITH EPILEPSY would also be a good book for the school nurse to have on hand.
Over the years, I have given 3 copies to friends. The meat and potatoes of the book are still useful, though some of the organizations and other stuff are outdated. Good complimentary book to more recent material.
I immediately felt the encouragement of being labeled "special needs." Not really.
My son has epilepsy so this book comes in handy for me. The condition of it was better than I expected and I would highly recommend it!
