This manual was just what I wanted. I had been out of the field for a few years and wanted to know all I could learn about R410A and about it's characteristics and origins. (I am installing a new GoodMan 16 SEER airconditioner in my older home and replacing the old.... no more R22, right?) :-) This is about as clear, basic, and cogent information as one can get. It is low cost, and well presented. I feel as if I have had a quick full day , 8 hour, "update" course on R410A and related aesiotropic refrigerants. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who just wants to know more, get some technical and legal details, and yet not wade through a huge technical manual. There things about R410A that - anyone who is planning to work with anything that is R410A filled - needs to know. NOTE: You do need to know what this book presents so simply. This is NOT the old R22 system we all grew up with. Enjoy!
After replacing my r22 central air conditioner with a new system which uses r410a, I made this purchase in the event I need to service my air conditioner. I am very satisfied with the price and delivery and highly recommend this product.
If you are looking for the book to study and understand 410 a refrigerant this is the book to get. For the Supervisor, Forman, Leader this is the reference book for your men to study for the 410 a epa test. Lots of good info.
Very helpful did take this exam and with out the info in this booklet i wouldn't have got a 94% on the test thank you again !!!!!!!!!!
As a guy who just passed his Journeyman Test, this book was an invaluable study guide to prepare for my 410-A certification.
This book is full of good and pratical informations. I hope the author will prepare some other works about the new refrigerant generation.
Very good overall reading in 410A and general HVAC procedures and regulations. Enjoyed the concise way that it was presented makes it easy to refer to in the future.
