These beautiful wood puzzles will delight the imaginations of young children, and as the author says, will make fantastic gifts for them! Crafts seem to be something of the past for me. I came form a family of four girls, and crafts were a task of everyday life. It kept us out of our mother's way, and enjoyed doing them. As a young mother now of two boys, I get in a rut because there never seems to be any crafts for boys.Recently, I was on my search again. I came across the book, "Word Puzzles", by R Wayne Koepp. In this book, he has many different types of puzzles. This is the craft for boys! We have gone on to make many different puzzles from the fish to the airplane. There is a whole topic of wood puzzles my husband has also enjoyed making with our boys.
What a great way to get a wonderful brain workout. Puzzles are fun while still challenging. They keep me and my family entertained for hours at a time! From easy to hard, all is thought provoking. If you love puzzles, then this is for you! These games are fun and challenging, and I must warn you...highly addictive!
This is a nice collection of simple woodworking plans, perfect for someone like me who has no experience using scroll saws. They are so simple, in fact, that I feel inspired to create some patterns of my own. Well done
