I am new to the Dakota area and was really looking for a book to tell me what I can and can't plant up here. I do not know this climate. It was good, but never got to exactly what I wanted. It only tells you a few plants you can use in the flower beds, not as many options as I expected to be listed in the book. We ended up buying a different book that offered a listing of all flowers, and then when to plant.
