Very easy to use reference on PA gardening. Not only includes information on plants that do well in the state, but planting and care instructions. Extensive list of PA gardens to visit will keep you busy for years to come. Detailed zone chart for the state is provided. I like this book so much I have given it as a gift to several gardening friends. The pictures and descriptions are very useful and pertinent to my location in Pennsylvania. Ideal for quick reference and just idle reading.
If you garden in PA this is a must have guide. It has beautiful pictures and succinct explanations. I do not think this is for a beginning gardener. You need to know certain things, but as you learn, patiently, through trial and error, year after year, you will find yourself going back to this little book (looks more like a magazine) and referring to it for its clear guidance.
