Thanks to the AHA, the book is written well, has up to date instructions and the latest algorhyhms. A very helpful C D is included that will assist you to review your knowledge of rhythms and medications. Very useful and easy to follow. A must for anyone recert'ing in ACLS.

The textbook entitled "Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support: Provider Manual" is the definitive advanced resuscitation resource for a wide variety of healthcare professionals. It is exceedingly well-written, well-organized, and well-illustrated, and I give it my highest recommendation.
This book has all the information needed for ACLS certification. It up to date as per current AHA guidelines. The pocket guide is handy. I suggest anyone who is getting certification for first time to read the book throughly.
I needed this book for an ACLS class that I am about to take. I cannot speak for how well it will help me for the class/test/job, but I can say that there is a lot of information compiled into this book. I like the tabs and pocket-guides that come with the book. The only reason I am not giving it a 5 star rating is because I find it to be a bit overpriced for what you get for your money.
This is the Cadillac of all ACLS books. It's somewhat complicated at times, but if you have a nice college education, it's not difficult to figure it out.Anyways, it is the one I use and never had problems passing the ACLS certification.
I found that I really needed this book to pass the ACLS examination. New information and concentration have change from the earlier ACLS information. I would highly recommend purchasing this book for your next certifaication- cajunnurse
This book is really nice. Pages are glossy and easy to read. Explainations are great. If you study this book you will pass your ACLS test. MUST BUY!This product came with a CD that was really helpful.Note those who are taking the test concentrate on the algorithms in the book. It is extremely helpful!
