This contains a dvd and infant cpr doll and is very informative. At first, we bought this set because all the CPR classes in town were full for next 3 months and we wanted to be familiar with infant cpr and choking protocol before our son was born. Now that we have it, we've found that it's been helpful to have a 22 minute refresher to watch whenever. It's also been helpful to have the dvd because we've loaned it out to friends and had our babysitter take it home and watch it. If you have an infant at home, I would recommend getting this.
Every parent should have this video. I feel better knowing how to perform CPR on my baby should we need it and the video is short enough that I can reference it when I feel that I need a quick tutoral again.
This is super easy to understand and follow. It's much better than having to take a class somewhere, and if you forget stuff you can easily look it up on the card or watch the video (plus it's good for dads who are hard to drag to yet another infant training class!) There is no "hardcover" book though with this - not sure why listed it that way. Would be awfully hard to write a whole book about infant CPR! It's a fake baby, a dvd and some brochure stuff...good luck!
Great product. Great bargain. I went to an infant CPR class before my baby was born, but I figured that it would be a little overbearing for me to make those who might be caring for my child (grandma, grandpa, aunt, nanny) go to a class as well. This video and dummy were the perfect solution. The video teaches the same things, and the dummy allows the viewer to practice, just as in a real class. Plus, family, friends, and babysitters are able to train themselves (and refresh their training) on their own time without having to pay for a live class.
Classroom courses wanted $35 per person for exact training, felt we could use these along with have our sister review. Excellent well thought-out product!
The video is okay but it is obvious it is made to educate the lowest level of intelligence. The doll was only useful for one time of practice of cpr.
