The problems are a lot more difficult than what is on the PE and are not structured in the same format. The solutions are also hard to follow, because they use equations that do not follow what is supplied in the CERM. I would not suggest this book for study for the PE.
Don't use this as a study material if you have less than 6 months of study. Problems are hard, convoluted and very academic. While the concepts are decent, the path to is are better fit for a college lecture than a PE review session.For starters, questions are not in multiple choices. There's a good example of how impractical this book is for test prep.Get the reference manual and the companion practice problems book only. Don't waste money on this.
Great prep material for the actual exam. These tough questions helped me get used to the type of questions on the real exam.I passed on my first time taking the PE using this book.
Although problems are long, they are presented well with steps that will prepare you for both the morning and afternoon exams. Good coverage of concepts.
