The book is a great read. One of the authors Frank Spellman has written many books regarding environmental and water sciences. It is easier to follow than other books of a similar topic, so it is especially useful to individuals who are unfamiliar with wastewater plant operations. I work for a water utility, but in the drinking water and distribution section. I feel that this book has helped to add wastewater to my knowledge and I now feel confident enough to consider taking the EPA wastewater certification exam.
