This is a good book to help finish your caving and paint shorebirds. The color plates are detailed and accurately portrayed. The instructions are step-by-step, and easy for someone familiar with paints to follow. As I said, it's not paint by numbers, but it is a good reference to creating realistic carvings,
Lacking any instructions, was just a bunch of printed pictures without any information regarding colors Not nearly as good as had been expected. Certainly no " complete instructions"
great book for beginners or kids. Not real advanced. You can at least get an idea of the difference in birds and overall color scheme.
Some may have problems finding shapes of these birds this would not be a bad place to start for cut out shapes.
