In 2007-8 when I adopted my Savannah I was as lost living with my F2 hybrid as he was walking through a house. I ended up researching his closest relative the serval for a deeper understanding of how we could adjust. The only published work was privately done and was unfortunately geared more to the particulars important to showing them. I was happy to see that several more books popped up on these incredible felines. I think this book only took it a few steps further than the one by a different author 5 years ago.
If you're fortunate enough to have a Savannah cat, you really need this book. I learned so many things that I wish I had known when she was a kitten. It's a great book for any hybrid cat. It holds true for our Pixie Bobs as well. I had been feeding my Savannah and Pixie Bobs Vet recommended Science Diet. Its 2 main ingredients are just what these cats should NOT have. No wonder they had digestive problems and weren't reaching their full muscular/body development, It's info. you need to know.
