i gave this book three stars because it didn't have more patterns than it did. I was hoping that there would be several different patterns to carve that were reminiscent of the cover angel. But it does have great info on carving in it.
Useful book, shows how to do it. More introductory probably, but for someone starting out, this is very, very good.
I am just starting out in carving and it will be a little while before I tackle the items in this book. I am looking forward to it as the illustrations are good. I should not have any problems following the instructions pictured for the angels.
