If you live in the Dallas area (within 100 miles) and you want to learn how to garden and landscape, or learn more about it, this is an absolute must-have. There's a section that tells you what's important to be done and what can be done month by month, then sections on great trees, shrubs, vines, groundcovers, perennials, annuals, fruits and vegetables, bulbs, roses, you name it. It's got it all.I went from having a black thumb (my husband used to say plants would shrink in horror if I approached) to having a yard that strangers slow down by and roll down their window to ask me what I'm doing to make it look like that, LOL. It's just an amazing book, very user-friendly and practical information for just about anything you would grow here!
