Every Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m.-noon, GardenLine's Randy Lemmon answers listeners' questions on everything from aphids to zoysias. Excellent book that is an easy read. All your basic questions regarding gardening along the Gulf Coast are probably found in here. I recommend it highly. If you want a lot of scientific or in depth technical stuff, look elsewhere. If you want the practical, when and how to do it guide for all your lawn, tree and flower needs, then this is the book for you.
Just what I wanted! The used copy I purchased from was even signed by Mr. Lemmon himself! I have not read it all yet but I have enjoyed the advice given in the book and it is perfect for the Houston area. Easy to follow and understand. If you don't have a green thumb or even if you do, this guide will come in very handy if you live on or near the spectacular Gulf Coast.
Needs editing to correct errors and spelling. An index would make the book useful to a lot more readers.
