The color coded tabs for the NEC book work so good. They really help organize and make it easier to find what you are looking for. They are sturdy, sticky and have held up great. I put these in my code book and it made it easier to pass the electricians test. Besides the testing and school use for these, my code book is an everyday item I use. The tabs make it much easier to flip through. I used this to pass my 4 year electrical test, and passed with time to spare and flying colors. When a question came up, I could just grab the right tab and flip to exactly where I needed to find the answer. I will be getting a new set of these when the 2017 code book comes out because they are so awesome. I’d definitely recommend every person who carries a NEC book to buy these. You won’t waste as much time looking for your answers and codes. The colors are true and don’t fade. It also take a lot for them to fall off. In fact, I don’t think I have had any fall off yet and I have had them for two years! It really is a wonderful tool and product. They were really thinking convenience when they made them. It was also easy to go through and install them in the book. It only took maybe 5 or 10 minutes to get them all stuck in there. There is clear instructions on how to organize them.
Great tabs! They are clear and I do like that they have different colors (not certain this helps, but does add some some aesthetic quality to one of the worlds most drab books). Remember before purchasing; you have to put each individual tab on the book (almost 100). It's meticulous and a pain in the butt, but the end result should save some time down the road.
Absolutely the #1 purchase i've made this year. Really helps you to dig into the codebook by visually indicating what is where. If you spend 200 dollars on the book, spend the 20 dollars on these. You will not regret it. if you are a company I reccomend these from a productivity standpoint alone.
These tabs are amazing. Very useful to have. Makes studying the codebook a lot easier and quicker. Good for either those who already have their license and for those studying to get theirs. Easy to put in the book, easy to read, very good product to have.
Just one problem. They don't have enough tabs for us low volt guys. For some bizarre reason there never seems to a tab for Article 640 - Audio. No respect I tell ya, no respect at all.
Exactly what I wanted.People critisize the tabs saying that they have no use but my experience differs from theirs. I think it does help and prevents you from having to swipe thru you're book to find the page you need. The fact that they are color-coded are useful as well. I have seen other brands that just have to all yellow tabs and those are a little confusing. I would recommend and buy again.
As a second year apprentice in the NJATC program for the international brotherhood of electrical workers, this helped me pass 4 code book tests this year. I'm really not sure how I would have done it without these tabs!
