The New Perspective Series has been a great help to me, I've mastered the easier software (Word) and have gotten pretty good with Excel, and PowerPoint too. You don't always need the CD, as most of the exercises only require that you have the software on your computer. The CDs contain partially completed projects for you to finish, but generally there is at least one project in each chapter you can do from scratch. If you're a university student your instructor may have the projects available for download online as well.This is probably the last year you will need this product because the Office 2013 suite is rapidly replacing Office 2010
Its Project 2010 but comes with 2000, how does that help. The program looks great on the picture and seems easy to learn but I didn't receive Project 2010.
