I've been getting back into collecting coins lately and this was a great way to take care of my half dollars that I had laying around. Enough slots for all the years with P and D mints when both were minted. The coin folder also provides good info like how many produced in the certain years.I give this a 4.5 because the coins are a bit hard to fit in the slots in this coin folder. They will certainly fit in, it just takes a bit more effort to push them in.

Well put together and at a decent price. This is what I used and my grandfather used when he was a kid. Whitman has been around for a long time and they do a good job. The reason I only 4 stared was because after a couple of times of removing a coin it doesn't keep it tight. Great product.

Quality from Whitman, the folders are good for scraping together a rough collection. The albums are a better choice for higher quality coins and viewing both sides of the coins. The folders are cheap and reliable though, very handy to keep organized starting out in collecting.

These coin folders have changed little over the past 40 years. A wonderful way to venture into coin collecting for young and old. The only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that the holes are really REALLY tight to place the coins in. I usually resort to a wine cork and a rubber mallet to tap them into place.

I HAVE 20 WORDS I ONLY NEED ABOUT SEVEN. THIS BOOK/FOLDER IS THE SAME COMENTSI LEFT ON BEGINNING 2004 AND BOOK/FOLDER YEARS 1986 THRU 2003, THE BOOKS/FOLFERSA FACE LIFT INSIDE AND OUT. THKS==BRUCE

great product just as described as usual Whitman sells great quality products. I prefer them over the other brands of folders there so much nicer and have the number of each coin that was minted below the coin. I would recomend there folders to everyone. Thanks keep up the good work.

The collector's book has holes the size of the coins cut out, with labels under every hole with the specific year, mint, and sometimes other information about the coin for the hole. I have found it very hard to keep a collection of circulating coins without whitman portfolios.I took off a star because of two flaws in its design. Most importantly, the backing is very thin, and clearly shows every coin you've pressed into the other side. Also, the coins stay in place by pressing the surrounding posterboard outwards. That means that the force used to put the coin into the book is far more than the force holding it in, and it cane sometimes be a struggle to get a coin to fit.

I have a few Whitman coin folders and they're generally pretty good. However the ones for half dollars aren't. I have three of them (1964-1985, 1986-2003, and 2004-) and in all three of them the holes for the coins are too small. You really have to fight to get them in, and one side of the coin will typically be sticking out of the slot and if you look at it the wrong way the coin will pop out. I haven't experienced this with pennies, dimes, or nickels, just with half dollars.
