This is an excellent research source for medals bearing the likeness of President Kennedy. There are pictures and descriptions of many, many medals, but I believe anyone who is interested in JFK, even if they are not into medals, would enjoy this book. It is loaded with information which I found most interesting. I highly recommend William Rice's book.
This year is the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy half dollar. Collectors of the series, JFK fans, or history buffs will enjoy this book. Updating out-of-date references, the author lists the many tokens and medals that commemorate one of our most popular presidents. Even the longtime collector will find new items. Many photos and background info will satisfy the researcher. Anyone who ever saved a Kennedy half dollar will be amazed at the amount of JFK items minted. This book is a wonderful reference, to be used for many years to come.
