I found these instructions very helpful. They're step by step, and offer directional arrows so that you know which way to blend clay. This is just a "head" tutorial, so don't expect to make whole doll from this. Don't be put off by small grammar issues. It's easy to read and understand.
I have been doing polymer clay for a while and have played some with sculpting faces and have also tried a couple tutorials. This tutorial gives really great detail and I Love how she adds the arrows and directions to which direction to sculpt in with your tool. This makes it look very simple and seems much easier to follow along then some of the other tutorials I've seen. Can't wait to dive in and try one for myself. Great little guide and a quick read with detailed picture illustrations!
I purchased this as a Kindle book and I wish I had purchased a printed copy as the paper white kindle I have doesn't do the pictures justice and when I enlarge the type on the kindle reader it doesn't enlarge the pictures. I can see that this is a good book and now I will have to purchase it as a printed item. Some things just are done justice on a small paper white kindle. Regular just typed books without lots of pictures work the best on a kindle, but I didn't know till I tried. I do like the book and will be purchasing a hard copy.
I am just starting to learn to sculpt faces . This book is very clear on how to sculpture doll faces. I plan on getting the book on eyes also. Please keep writing, you write so everyone can understand it. I would enjoy a book on the rest of the body as well. Thank you !!!
