I am a kindergarten teacher. While so many admins think of blocks and Legos as play and fluff, I have stood strong and provided these materials in my classroom. Our Title One school is most challenged with parent participation in events that will build home-learning. Therefore, any chance I have to provide my kinder-bears with great learning experiences, I am going to do it. Find Learning with Lego was such a treat this summer. I bought the hard copy AND the e-book. I have already seen so many ideas to provide independent exploring and working in small groups, too. This book is going to be a favorite for my students and I know I will have to go searching other classrooms to find out who borrowed it. Wonderful resource. Thank you.
I love this book! The activities are excellent. There are many choices of things to do, and the activities "fit" many different age groups. Each activity is described completely on a single page, so there's no need to flip around halfway through a challenge. Finally, the activities are presented as challenges that can have many possible solutions. It is not a book of step-by-step projects for kids to complete by following directions. The challenges ask them to use problem-solving skills, be creative, and experiment. What a fun way to build those skills!

This book gives you all the reasons in the world to gather your LEGO bricks and start playing, building and learning with your child by your side.These hands-on projects are beautifully illustrated and there are detailed instructions with every activity. As a blogger who reviews many books for children and learning I can honestly say this is among one of my favorites. It has so many amazing ideas in it to use the building blocks you most likely already have. The ideas are fun and creative and cover topics such as emotions, reading, telling time, science and more. There are even ones for art as well as math. And then there are some that are just fun. This is a must have book for homeschoolers, teachers, libraries and parents. This is a fabulous resource for parents and educators of young kids. I homeschool my Lego loving kids, and there are so many cool activities that they will love to do because Legos are included. I have read through it twice now and will be building with my kids this weekend because I can't wait to get started!
This bright, creative, and colorful resource is full of awesome ideas for LEGO lovers! My kids loved paging through and picking out which idea we would try next and I loved all of the great opportunities for learning. I can also see this being a great resource for me as a pediatric occupational therapist - lots of fine motor fun to be had with these great activities!
This book is full of cool ways for kids to learn with LEGO bricks. I own the ebook version, but I think the print edition would be even cooler. My kids have already found lots of cool activities thanks to this book, and it's really extending their LEGO play!
