I think more than anything, that this book can provide a person with the confidence to face off against any pest that may inhabit their living space. This book does not hold your hand and pat your back with the fine nuances of the matter, but rather it provides a good broad base understanding of the why and wherefore of the complicated plethora of chemicals in the battle against pests. The author categorizes these pesticides into groups or types, and explains, in layman's terms, how they do their job. He leaves it up to you to follow the manufacture's instructions, which is wise. In other words, the author tells you about the all weapons available and how they work. The book is a must have for anybody that elects to engage against a pest infestation without professional help; actually, everyone could benefit from this book.

I thought this book was good for a gernral understanding of pest control for an individual homeowners. Although for a very specific problem more details are available for a higher priced manaul.

Buy yourself a small bottle TEA TREE OIL at your local health food store, also get an empty 1oz to 8oz spray bottle, don't really matter. Put 1/5 TEA TREE OIL, and 4/5 WATER, thats it!!You can spray your entire body, it's all good, but just close your eyes(common sense) first if you're gonna spray your face! When we(4 of us) went camping, we all used it(8oz for 5 nights), and my G/F also used it to rub against her gums to settle her tooth ache, than spat it out,(DON'T SWALLOW).GOOGLE "TEA TREE OIL" FOR MORE OF ITS BENEFITS!!
