Okay . . . I love the depth of this book. It deserves 5 stars, really, but there's one thing that confuses me: Why in the world did Grace suddenly warm up to Herb after kicking John out? I was so confused. All in all it was amazing, except for the fact that I kind of want to beat John up for throwing little Sampson . . .:)
If you are a cat person you will like this story and if you are a retired cat person you will like it more

While this is a short story, unfortunately I would have loved to deck the one character just as he did. What a creep! Another life story that just begs for more helpful good people.
Loved this book. Had all the elements that makes reading so enjoyable. It flows well and regrettably was over before I wanted it to be.
