I have read all the books so far in this series and love them. I love the characters both 2 legged and 4 legged. I love how the cats seem to help Vanessa solve the mystery and catch the killer. I also love the fact Vanessa is older and is still finding a love interest even though she thinks she is the crazy cat lady.
I must admit I have NOT read this book yet. I have been WAITING for another book by this author, as I think I have read all of her cozy mysteries involving cats. I just LOVE them. So, I'm sure this will be a very good read! Thanks so much. Keep writing!
I've read all four now and have enjoyed the interaction of Vanessa and the cats in her sanctuary. The cats have helped protect her and helped her find clues toward solving the mysteries. If you have ever had a cat of your own you won't be surprised at the cats behaviors. I am really surprised at how she gets so much information and a good mystery in so few pages but she does.
I have read each book in the Vanessa Abbot Cat Cozy mystery series and love them. While I enjoy Vanessa and Pete, the human leads in the series my favorite characters are the cats. It's so interesting to see the role they play in solving the mystery. Fast paced, with a few suspects the mystery isn't so easy to solve. I also enjoyed the change of setting with this installment. I only hope that Ms. Davis is working on the next installment of this series.
This is the fourth of the Vanessa Abbott Cat Cozy series I have read. They are remarkably easy to curl up and take a break from the real world. Vanessa has incredible and incorrigible cats that can communicate to her as she helps the detective, Pete, to solve the cases. I look forward to the next installment of the series.
A must read for all lovers of mysteries and cats!! This is the first of this series I have read-I believe it is book #4--now I have to read books 1-3 and 5-?. This was a short and quick cozy mystery sure to put a smile on your face as the cats help to solve the crime.
Cats solve another crime,,, and the new sanctuary holds great promise. This story is simple, the cat's intriguing. The problem of transplant lists is current, and could become criminals all, as it does in this story.
A fun, short story about a variety of rescued cats that communicate with Vanessa and help solve crimes. Very nice to have clean, humorous, light-hearted stories to relax and unwind with.
