While on vacation at a ski resort with three of their cats a murder occurs. The person murdered--well you might say she really wasn't such a nice person and as such there were plenty of people who might have done it. Although the cats were locked inside the room they seemed to manage to escape every single day. Now I can understand this--my cat is pretty smart also and can open dresser drawers and kitchen cabinets with ease. At any rate wait till you read how one of the cats actually helped catch the killer!!This is a cute and relatively short book which I was able to read in an hour or so. I bet teens would enjoy this one also!
the whole series is delightful. these are not for hardcore mystery fans. there is no cursing or smuther conversations with the cats are funny and helpful to the plot. each mystery is solved by the end of the bookeach book advances her story line and the writing improves with each bookI look forward to the next one
Of all her series. this is my favorite .. Perfect length before bed or sometimes more than one. ;) I would love to have another cat, but my little mini dachshund would be upset. Iffy had a beautiful SIAMESE named SNOOKIE ,BUT HE PASSED AWAY AT AGE 14, and she might bee to old for a new friend now. Anyway NANCY PLEASE WRITE MORE OF MY FAVORITE SERIES SOON. I HAVE READ AND ENJOYED ALL OFF THESE MORE THAN ONCE.
I always enjoy reading th work of Nancy C. Davis. I love the way that the cats always help solve a mystery. The setting for this one was great and there were enough twists to keep it interesting. I will certainly continue to not only read this series but every series that this author writes.
A delightful reading experience with all of the author's books with Vanessa Abbott cat cozy mysteries pure entertainment. I know you will enjoy them.
One of the better stories see. Again the cars prevail. Didn't want to stop reading until the culprit was captured.
