Mixed up material that doesn't explain things well. Also the material doesn't cover the subjects good and is more confusing than educational. Subjects not clearly defined. Not good at all for looking up related subjects quickly. IT'S DEFINITELY THE WRONG BOOK TO HAVE IF YOU ARE PLANNING ON TAKING THE PRINCIPLES PRACTICES OF LAND SURVEYING UNLESS YOU WANT TO FAIL. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY BUY ANOTHER REFERENCE! BAD REFERENCE!!!!

Good for course review/guide but would not recommend as a sole reference for those planning on taking the LSIT... Does not explain certain concepts to the degree necessary to pass the exam.

Good book for use as a study guide for the LSIT exam, a bit pricey though.

I ordered this manual before a CST III exam and i found it very useful. It's a great piece of material to have in an surveyors book shelf. It shows just little examples for many problems. It's not like a chapter book in which you read and then have example problems at the end, it touches all aspects of a surveyors problems, from vertical curves to boundary law.
