This book is an excellent source of information for purchaing antique clocks. It outlines what to look for, assessing condition, and tell tale signs of non original modifications and repairs.It also goes in to depth about how to move and store a clocks, and the pros and cons of the various methods of buying and selling clocks.The log book is very detailed, and would be a valuable addition to any clock is filled out completely and accurately. It would be good if more of these logs books could be purchased separately, as it is for one clock only. For this reason I give the book four stars.In short, it does what it says - and very well. I highly recommend this book to beginners and experts alike.
