My older Whitman books are all fine but the newer ones I've been buying are easily torn. I don't push too hard when placing the coins in their spot. I've been doing this for years; I know I'm not pushing too hard. Too often the backside will tear. I end up having to put packing tape on the back to make sure nothing falls through. Aside from that -- which could be a big deal to a lot of collectors -- isn't to me because even if there's a hole, so far, the coins stay in their spot.
I am very happy to have found this product on . My 9 year old son has recently gotten really in to collecting coins. He has now moved up to kennedy half dollars. I couldn't find this particular book in any of our local spots...not at Barnes and Nobles, MIchaels Craft Store, or the coin shop. He is a happy kiddo now. Thanks!
1 of the 2 items was probably cut incorrectly, my Kennedy halves don't fit at all in one booklet but fit perfectly in the other. Seems like poor consistency of product quality.
